During a career that spanned 45 years, she attained international stardom as an actress in both musical and dramatic roles, as a recording artist, and on the concert stage. Respected for her versatility, she received an Academy Juvenile Award, a Golden Globe Award, and a Special Tony Award. In 1962, Garland won the Grammy Award for Album of the Year for her 1961 double LP live recording Judy at Carnegie Hall—the first woman to win in this category. She is considered by many to be one of the greatest artists of the 20th Century.

Blondie is an American rock band founded by singer Debbie Harry and guitarist Chris Stein. The band were pioneers in the early American new wave and punk scenes of the mid-late 1970s. Its first two albums contained strong elements of these genres, and although successful in the United Kingdom and Australia, Blondie was regarded as an underground band in the United States until the release of Parallel Lines in 1978. Everything about making this new record felt more fluid for the Israeli indi-pop band led by singer Yael Shoshanna Cohen and multi-instrumentalist Gil Landau. Their sophomore effort, a collection of 12 gorgeous new songs full of compelling hooks, is more tightly focused, Cohen says, and Laudau agrees: “The sound and melodies are more cohesive.” The song are stylish and evocative, blending a vintage sensibility with modern touches.
